Description

Charles Keeler
The Simple Home

San Francisco, Paul Elder and Company, 1904. Original.

In 1904 Charles and his wife Louise lived in Berkeley on what the locals called “Nut Hill”. It was as much for the acorns as for the people. It is an interesting read, but I wouldn’t take too seriously what he has to say about curtains. The cover is moderately foxed and the work priced accordingly. Otherwise very good. (Cat 21.9)
