Finished size: 13″ x 42″. Our variation of a design originally offered by Gustav Stickley’s Craftsman Workshops, ca. 1904, inspired by “details of plant-live liable to be overlooked save by the microscopic eye of the artist.”
The larger squares are hand stencilled in your choice of olive or blue, the remainder of the design is worked in hand embroidery in satin stitch, stem stitch and a few French knots. You have the option of drawn thread Hand Hemstitching or Stem Stitch for the hem.
