Boston, W. B. Clarke Co. 1900. I looked for a copy of this for over 20 years with no luck. Then one day it appeared. A better title might have been “Adventures in Pure Design”. Scarce. Large Portfolio 17inches by 13 inches, 40 plates complete. I had the folder for the plates professionally repaired. It should last another 120 years. In the frustration of not finding a copy I purchased a reprint. Mistake. The reprint was 10 by 7 inches and printed “differently”. It didn’t help, size matters, as does the printing ink.
