A linen sleeve has been hand sewn to the top for hanging.

Smith may have been aided by his brother Lawrence R. Smith. Arthur was Canadian, his work is in the Cooper Hewitt Collection and The Minneapolis Institute of Arts. His work “The History of Radio” is shown in The World of Art Deco, by Bevis Hillier, An Exhibition organized by The Minneapolis Institute of Arts, July- September 1971, page 192, illustration 1192.
