Placing orders
We now have online ordering for some items. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. If you wish to pay by check, you may use our online Shopping Basket and follow the instructions upon checking out or you may print an order form to mail. Or telephone us at 510-654-1645, or fax (510-654-1256) your order.

For kits, completed pillows and table linens, yardage, curtain orders under $200 and hardware, the total amount is due when placing an order. For curtain, custom and other orders over $200, a deposit of one-half the total confirms your order. Your deposit puts your order on our calender. The balance will be due upon completion.

We try to keep a good selection of all items on hand, when possible,your order will be sent promptly. Otherwise, our lead times are as follows:

We generally use the US Postal Service for sending catalogs and fabric swatch sets and use UPS shipping for all other items. Please check with us if you have a specific deadline for receiving your order. In addition to UPS Ground, you may choose UPS Next-day, UPS 2-day or UPS 3-day service. The shipping day does not count in the delivery time - for example, a package shipped on Tuesday via UPS 2 day service will be delivered on Thursday.

Sales Tax
Sales tax must be added to items sent within California. The rate is 8.75%. There is no tax on the shipping amount.

Custom items
For changes of stencil color, appliqué color or fabric for a completed item or kit, pillow or table linen add $25 for the first change, an additional $10 for second change, and $5 for each subsequent change. If ordering more than one item with the same design, the additional charges apply only once, subsequent items are priced at the standard rate.

For example, to order custom Roycroft Tulip pillow kits:  
to the standard kit price: $45 add
on Raw Linen (instead of Flax Canvas) $25 (first change)
with a Red flower (instead of Periwinkle or Russet) $10 (second change)
and Teal leaves (instead of Olive) $5 (third change)
Thus, for one custom kit with the above specifications, the total is $85 plus shipping and tax
A 2nd kit with the same custom colors and fabric is priced at the standard price ($45). Thus, the total for 2 is $130 plus shipping and tax

Custom sizes
For a Table Scarf of a different length than listed, add or subtract 50¢ per inch difference for a kit, or $1.oo per inch for a completed scarf.

For a custom size pillow, square or custom width of table scarf, some designs adapt easily, others need a significant amount of work to redesign, call for pricing on these.

Custom designs
We are happy to work with you on ideas for custom designs or execute your design on textiles. Generally, design fees are in the range of $60 to $200. Since there are so many options in designing handmade textiles it is helpful to have a predetermined budget to work within.

Kits for embroidered curtains - Any of the embroidered curtains are available in kit form, custom assembled to the sizes and colors you desire. All notions and complete instructions are included. Roughly the cost is about one third that of completed embroidered curtains as priced on the following pages. Please contact me for an exact price quote.
