Placing orders We now have online ordering for many items. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. If you wish to pay by check, you may use our online Shopping Basket and follow the instructions upon checking out or you may print an order form to mail. Or telephone us at 510-654-1645. For kits, completed pillows and table linens, yardage, curtain orders under $200 and hardware, the total amount is due when placing an order. For curtain, custom and other orders over $200, a deposit of one-half the total confirms your order. Your deposit puts your order on our calender. The balance will be due upon completion. We try to keep a good selection of all items on hand, when possible,your order will be sent promptly. Otherwise, our lead times are as follows: Standard Kits will be shipped within 3 weeks Completed Pillows & Table Linens will be shipped within 6 weeks Custom orders, such as curtains and custom designs, our lead time varies but is generally 6 to 12 weeks Yardage, Hardware & supplies - varies depending upon our suppliers - generally within 4 weeks We generally use the US Postal Service for sending catalogs and fabric swatch sets and use UPS shipping for all other items. Please check with us if you have a specific deadline for receiving your order. In addition to UPS Ground, you may choose UPS Next-day, UPS 2-day or UPS 3-day service. The shipping day does not count in the delivery time - for example, a package shipped on Tuesday via UPS 2 day service will be delivered on Thursday. If ordering more than one item with the same design, the additional charges apply only once. *Custom sizes In addition to the change price noted above, for a Table Scarf Kit of a custom length, add or subtract 50¢ per inch difference. For a custom length Completed Table Scarf, in general the change is plus or minus $1.oo per inch, but for designs with embroidery in addition to the hemline thruout the length this charge may vary. For a custom size pillow, square or custom width of table scarf, some designs adapt easily, others need a significant amount of work to redesign, call for pricing on these. EXAMPLES FOR CUSTOM PRICING Custom fabric & colors for Roycroft Tulip pillow kits: Custom size, fabric & colors for a completed Ginkgo Table Scarf to the standard kit price: $45 to the standard 20"x72" $260 on Raw Linen (instead of Flax Canvas) add $25 (first change) for 90" length add $25 change charge + $18 additional length with a Red flower (instead of Periwinkle or Russet) $10 (second change) on Craftsman Linen (instead of Flax Canvas) $10 (second change) and Teal leaves (instead of Olive) $10(third change) with Forest Green stencil (instead of Leaf Green) $10 (third change) Thus, for one custom kit with the above specifications, the total is $90 plus shipping and tax Total for this custom completed table scarf is $323 plus shipping and tax A 2nd kit with the same custom colors and fabric is priced at the standard price ($45). Thus, the total for 2 is $135 plus shipping and tax A second custom size Ginkgo table scarf ordered at the same time in the same colors would only incure the + or - $1 per inch charge! Custom designs We are happy to work with you on ideas for custom designs or execute your design on textiles. Generally, design fees are in the range of $60 to $200. Since there are so many options in designing handmade textiles it is helpful to have a predetermined budget to work within. Kits for embroidered curtains - Any of the embroidered curtains are available in kit form, custom assembled to the sizes and colors you desire. All notions and complete instructions are included.
